Alfa Romeo will become a stand-alone company

There were rumors about the future of Alfa Romeo on the internet. According to Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has planned to transform Alfa Romeo into a stand-alone company, just like its predecessor Ferrari and Maserati, after which the company Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. will include Lancia, Abarth and Fiat Professional.

We also heard the news that CEO Sergio Marchionne will turn this rumor in to fact on May 6 of this year. By then, new strategy for Fiat-Chrysler will be told. The plan also includes use Ferrari-developed engines to power upcoming RWD sedan and crossover/SUV models. The coming of a new Spider is likely to end the MiTo and Giulietta.Alfa Romeo
