Alfa Romeo will go back to its racing heritage

Alfa Romeo has just announced its five-year business plan, according to which the company will focus on their racing heritage and invest most on the following five attributes: advanced engines, perfect 50-50 weight distribution, impressive power-to-weight ratios and “groundbreaking and distinctively Italian design.” Two senior heads from Ferrari will work for the project and the company will employ more engineers.

The company talked no more details about the decision and the plan will kick off at the end of 2015 after which the company will release a series of models and now the company has unveiled some preliminary engine data: four-cylinder petrol engines with an outputs ranging from approximately 110-330 bhp, six-cylinder petrol engine developing an outputs between 400-500 bhp.
