More carbon fiber and aluminum will be used in Mercedes-Benz S-Class

We are living at a world that cares more about energy-saving and environmental protection than ever before. Energy-saving and environmental-protection products will be supported by governments from all over the world especially in developed world.

Recently, we got the news that Mercedes-Benz S-Class will use more carbon fiber and aluminum on its new models to save weight and increase fuel economy. The company is considering softening curb weight of its S-Class. The next generations is planed to use 50% aluminum, compared with 10% aluminum in their predecessors.
